In Hatuchay Hotels we are respectful of the roles we assume on Social and Environmental Responsibility, within the local environment where they develop to ensure the survival of future generations and sustainable development of our company.

With this slogan and taking as the main element our location within the Protected Areas of Peru, with 02 hotels: Hatuchay Tower Machu Picchu Hotel, in the Historic Sanctuary in the Cuzco Region and Pacaya Samiria Amazon Lodge, in the Buffer Zone of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve in the Loreto Region; we have been working on the transformation of our actions and so seek harmony that should prevail in the beneficial exchange among our visitors, the environment, employees, and our company.

In Hatuchay Hotels, we work actively to ensure that your stay, also cause a positive social impact, providing services according to global criteria of sustainable tourism, supported by Rainforest Alliance, an organism that has enabled the company to take part in its Sustainable Tourism Program. We have achieved the application of the Check Mark of Rainforest Alliance, which is a tool to promote the responsible use of natural resources and promote a healthy marketing system that values production, sources, sustainable consumption and fair trade in tourist operations.

This qualifies our company, as socially responsible and active in the development process to achieve certification. With this goal, we have implemented the various phases of the sustainability training program, developing among other actions, proper management of solid waste and the plan of responsible consumption of water and energy, activities that are conducted by the sustainability team.

Rainforest Alliance is an organization that is responsible for protecting biodiversity, the rights and welfare of workers and local communities. It works internationally with thousands of professionals who are responsible for corresponding tracking to all companies that join them looking for sustainable development.
